Chris Conoscenti

CEO

Mr. Conoscenti is the CEO and co-founder of Silver Smoke Royalties. Prior to co-founding Silver Smoke, he served as CEO and a Director of Sitio Royalties Corp. (NYSE: STR) and its predecessors from 2019 until its sale to Viper Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: VNOM) in August 2025. Sitio was a returns-driven company focused on consolidation of high-quality oil & gas mineral and royalty interests diversified across commodities, geographies and operators. At the time of sale, Sitio owned over 275,000 net royalty acres. Prior to joining Sitio, Mr. Conoscenti had an 18 year career in oil and gas investment banking, including 13 years at J.P. Morgan Securities and 5 years at Credit Suisse Securities. Mr. Conoscenti holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration from Tulane University.

Jarret Marcoux

EVP Operations

Mr. Marcoux is the EVP Operations and co-founder at Silver Smoke Royalties. Prior to co-founding Silver Smoke in 2025, he served as EVP Operations at Sitio Royalties Corp. (NYSE: STR) and its predecessors from 2019 until its sale to Viper Energy, Inc.

Prior to joining Sitio, Mr. Marcoux spent 4 years in engineering roles at Kimmeridge Energy and two years at Baker Hughes Company in subsurface engineering and management roles.

Additionally, Mr. Marcoux has eight years of engineering experience working for IBM, Samsung, and AMD within the electronics industry. He holds a Master of Engineering from Texas A&M University in Petroleum Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Chemical Engineering with a secondary major in Economics.
